Hey Abia,
The office politics now is lots worse then before already.
In the Beginning, me and Abia times:
C looks fierce and with abia telling me that she is scary, i am afraid of her too. We never went out for lunch together until m came into the picture. She was the admin administator which means that she hold higher position than the rest of us. Well, me and abia met her at tthe canteen on her first day and we ate with her, telling her a bit about our little knowledge of the cnc background.
When C came in, she has to work so hard that she had to stay overtime most of the days and since m is coming in as a supervisor. everybody expect her to be good. And with the fact that the previous supervisor is good at her work. Hence, C warns me and Abia not to help m and let her do her things alone. She is new and she is working like mad. Poor her! we really would want to help her but as we were afraid of C, we decide that we better listen to the experienced one. And soon, C asked us for lunch and M was left out. We felt bad and we know that M just want to be friendly with everybody be close with everybody, so as to have a nice work environment but however she must have felt that she is being aimed and she tried to resign a few times due to this; too stress and no body will like people to attitude them.
Then Abia quits and phyphy came into the picture. Well, when she came in, things are still on C side as she is like the red-indian who had her own logic. Of what we have listen, we choose to stay out of it. Just lunch khakis. And definetly, we join in a bit when we have some issue against M . Mostly it is about her attitude and the things she do. She seems not very clear and wanted to change the system but many ppl have been so used to the system that when she implement things, work became slower as people are not used to the system. So, Issued is being raised up again. However, m got the support from the manager and hence though things turn out to be slower and with sales rep complaining, this system still goes on. C and the manager is not on very good term as well, due to an unfair treatment that she once had with her, she never really give face to the manager since. To be frank, some issue phyphy had with M, at abia times existed already.
Many would say, come on she is new, she needs times and such but when phyphy came in she was 6 months here and she pass her propation period; with the dislike of the rest of the department, except some who don't even bother.
When phyphy is leaving...
At this point, which is the continuation, m became kinda different from the first time i met her, with her friendly attitude and concerning heart. She wanted to get rid of c with the manager help. Yu says that all these things make her became like a god being pushed to the corner and ready to retaliate. She and the manager took away c role in the company. c was fast what she is doing now is being taken by a new ct girl, BUT, 5 other ppl is helping her as she could not cope with her work. C is not happy of course, she went up to the union, the union speaks to the bigger manager but things are not settled. It went furthur. It just seems that not one can survive with the other around. the new Ct girl is caught in the middle, i was being aimed by m and the department seems to have 2 side. majority with c but the manager with m.
Talking about how i am being aimed, i have been late for so long but just so recently, the manager who sometimes will arrive earlier then me called me to tell me not to be late as she knows that there was a time i was late. My supervisor is not m and she was so nice, she keep covering for me in a lot of areas. And if it was her who told the manager about it, i got no issues as i am really late. However, i believe it is not her. Ok, in this is my bad, hence forget about it, even though the one who complain about me might not be my own supervisor. m also given me attitutude nowadays. perhaps we had nothing to talk about but come on, at least there is a bit of basic manners right. She don't even look at me when she i asked her something. Well, i am offended as i think i have no issue against her, it is just that i have heard a lot but i really have been trying to stay out of it. Perhaps she thinks that i have always been going out for lunch with them then perhaps i have join them in the back-stabbing, i admit there was a bit though. And perhaps i have not been listening or obeying to her instructions like asking to place the doc with some other. However, I have my reasons for not doing her will. I didnt want to mess things up. Okie, watever the watever.
Yesterday, we had YF meeting and Wen Guang was talking about his work also. He mentioned why not every Christians are pastors or preacher, rather God places Ct at workplace so as to influence and share the Word to them. Well, somehow, i have the idea perhaps i should be a missionary or what. haha. Somehow, when i am in that position, i tried to stand in the middle of the bridge but somwhow it will tend to be that i am close to one side. But one thing i know i should learn is to pray for my company, for my colleagues, for the supervisors. Being a ct in this situation.
Pray for me!!!
